NEW OWNERSHIP AND A POSITIVE SHIFT IN RESPONSIBILITIES

Gene R. George & Associates, Inc. (GGA) was formed in 1992 by Gene and Cathy George to provide geological, engineering and environmental services to oil and gas, industrial and extractive mineral companies.  Beginning January 2007, Tyler Vanderhoef became the new owner and president of the company.  With this change in ownership and corporate structure, there has been a positive shift in duties and responsibilities.  Mr. Vanderhoef now manages day-to-day operations and oversees the company’s regulatory and government relations work.  This has allowed Mr. George, who remains fully active and engaged with the company, to shift his focus from regulatory and government relations work to petroleum geology giving him the perfect combination of supporting GGA and doing what he likes best.

This combination of new ownership and a positive shift in duties and responsibilities has been very exciting.  It has galvanized already strong internal relationships, fostered continuity for our clients and will enable GGA to maintain the high work product and professionalism for which the company has always been recognized.

The firm was built on practical knowledge of oil and gas and mineral industry exploration and operation and their related regulatory requirements. GGA emphasizes the following areas:

GGA's staff includes expertise in project management, professional petroleum geology, professional petroleum and hydrologic engineering, regulatory issues, permit management, computer technology and clerical support. The office is fully computer-equipped with fax, copying, binding and computer on-line capabilities. GGA has in-house geological mapping, oil & gas log analysis, oil and gas field modeling, GIS mapping, project management, plotting, scanning and digital presentation capabilities.
