Qualifications:
Twenty-six years of oil and gas experience including two years of facility design & operation, three years of production operations, eight years of regulatory permitting and compliance, and thirteen years of environmental permitting and compliance.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to regulatory and environmental compliance for oil and gas operations
- Expertise in Wyoming Water Quality Rules and Regulations, Federal Clean Water Act (CWA), and National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations
- Excellent relationships and contacts with Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Region 8 EPA, Bureau of Land Management, and Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission
- Experience managing oilfield waste, including company owned industrial landfills and hazardous waste
- Storm water management permitting, monitoring, and reporting expertise
- Soil and pit remediation/reclamation expertise
- Knowledge of Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans
- Underground injection control permitting and reporting experience
- Expertise with groundwater/soil monitoring and sampling, analysis of associated laboratory data and quality control
- Experience with State Engineer and Army Corp of Engineer permitting of reservoirs
- Experience coordinating and managing due diligence for oil and gas property acquisitions
- Experience with state and federal permitting of oil and gas wells in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and North Dakota
- Several years of experience working with industry trade organizations including the Petroleum Association of Wyoming, American Petroleum Institute, and Rocky Mountain Health Environment and Safety Peer Group
